Charity Fundraiser

Ok so today I went to my 7 hour first day of training at Pure. Facing the Scottish granny and surrounded by a sea of a) Iceland mum's who are so ignorant they actually beleive it to be a good job. b) Students and other lost souls who are obviously in need of some direction and money C) random others including foreigners and bullshitters who have done the job before at another company.

The scottish granny speaks with such a drone, and a combination of her tone and tactical pausing and the bright lights overhead was sending me to sleep in the second half. The first half I was kept awake by the sounds of my stomach rumbling. Lunch couldn't have come sooner. I sat outside in the rain just for the contrast haha. They try to make it seem like you are working for an ethical cause, fundraising for charities, but in reality its basically disturbing people at home, sometimes even on their mobiles and sometimes when they are on holiday! saying very nicely that their donation is NOT ENOUGH and that they need to increase their 'gift' and set up a bitch ass direct debit. AS if all the money they give even goes to the charity. She even mentioned all the swish offices and company cars they need to take out before the charity gets the rest for it's 'research'. Ah I think i'm definately going to feel the pain here. Got a week to do anyway or else I won't get paid for the dry training or anything. Booked in 33 hours hahaaaa super challenge, 10 hours a day for the first three days. I drew a picture of the granny towards the end of the session because I couldn't hold the image of her face in my head for any longer; transference seemed the only option. I'm going for a run...
